The Role: 

As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance activities on fire and security systems throughout London and the South-East. 

Specifically, you will be involved in: 

- Working on all systems in-line with British Standards, industry accreditations and SLAs 
- Completing remedial work 
- Processing jobs via a tablet or PDA 
- Keeping accurate records of completed work 

About You: 

To be considered for the role of Fire and Security Engineer, you will need: 

- At least ten years’ experience of working as a fire and security engineer 
- Experience of working on Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Morley and Vesda systems 
- A full driving licence 
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills 
- Strong communication abilities 
- An analytical mindset 

Ideally, you’ll have experience of working on warden call systems, but this isn’t essential. 

You may have previously held the position of Fire and Security Engineer, Preventative Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Repair and Maintenance Engineer or Senior Repair & Maintenance Technician. 

Equally, our client would be keen to hear from candidates who have held the title of Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Engineer, Security System Engineer, Access Control Engineer, Intruder Alarm Engineer, or CCTV Technician.
