Personal Champion ( Mental Health )

35 hours per week
Temp to Perm ( min 12 weeks temp ) moving to perm
GBP25000 per year
My client is a UK registered charity providing quality employment services to disadvantaged members of the community through a range of services within the employment related services sector
A vacancy exists for a personal champion who will work to support a caseload of service users and to help them break down barriers to achieve contract progressions including into employment opportunities
This role would suit an employment advisor who has worked with complex barriers including ill mental health and has experience of working on similar funded programmes.
The role will involve working closely with the caseload and formimg action plans that address specific needs
It will also involve working with partner organisations and voluntary organisations to address identifed needs inclusing drug and alcohol addiction , learning difficulties and disabilities .
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of motivating and supporting individuals with complex needs overcome barriers and move towards or into sustainable employment
