Providing analytical support for business needs; set up improvement plans and formulate best practices.
Consolidate Operations reporting and analyse it for relevance. Work with local teams to refine the reporting to ensure it is focused and delivers metrics upon which decisions can be made.
Work to create a 'single source of truth;' a dashboard that all agree is the appropriate view of their tasks so that all departments and countries are measured equally and data integrity is not questioned.
Maintain the Operations dashboard using available tools to allow for multiple submitters but have a controlled and managed output.
Define the necessary periodicity for the reports in line with their variability and decision-making need. Components may need changing on a daily, weekly, month, quarterly basis though should still form part of a single cohesive dashboard.
Ensure timely review with Equinix leadership to identify future business needs that requires analytical and reporting support.
Work with the various country operational business units to revive the reports and ensure a common understanding of their content.
Recommend opportunities to improve existing reporting to enhance visibility into Operations.
Act as the responsible person for understanding historical performance trends and results; highlighting inconsistent results and suggesting improvements.
Identifying areas of anomalies and working with concerned country Operations departments for timely resolutions.
Work to automate that which can be automated to reduce management overhead and interpretation issues.
