Electronics Technician

Manufacturing Futures seek to appoint an Electronics Technician for a long established manufacturer of electronic products near Pontefract. You will be responsible for repairing and servicing a wide variety of electronic equipment to component level, investigating for the root cause of issues to improve quality and remove production / design problems going forward. You will have a recognised electrical and electronic engineering qualification (or equivalent experience in industry) and a good logical mind for fault finding. You need to be able to read schematics, recognise a variety of electronics components, and fault find returned electronic products. As Electronics Technician you will have previous experience in a Service Technician / Repairs Engineer / Returns Engineer style role.

* Bench repair of electronic equipment
* Working in the returns department you will be responsible for diagnosing electronic equipment
* Fault finding and repairing on PCB's down to component level
* Investigating failures and providing solutions

Electronic Technician - Skills and Abilities - Service Technician / Repairs Engineer / Returns Engineer / Electronics

* A recognised electrical / electronic engineering qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience repairing electronic equipment to component level
* Able to read schematics with a good basic understanding of electronic components
* PCB repair experience
