Our client is currently seeking a Rebates Coordinator to support their Customer Financial Services Team, ensuring that the customer rebate system is consistently and accurately maintained. 

Your key responsibilities will include actively maintaining customer rebate allowances in the sales finance database, ensuring that the resulting accruals accurately reflect the terms within the customers’ contracts and maintaining manual accruals within the database for In-Direct customer spend. You’ll verify rebate invoices against accruals and turnover figures, paying attention to the accuracy of claims against contracted terms and checking turnovers quoted against turnover achieved and values claimed against actual entitlement. Reviewing new agreements you’ll identify changes and update as required.  Via written and verbal communication with our client’s European Sales Teams, Customers and Finance Teams you’ll query invoices and actively follow up communications to ensure speedy and effective query resolution. Within this role you’ll also process manual recharge in the database, will provide backup to finance and credit control departments and will issue credit and debit notes where appropriate.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role, commercially aware and financially literate with strong knowledge and understanding of accruals. You’ll be culturally sensitive to pan-European business, have high levels of attention to detail and be a competent IT user with strong Microsoft office skills, database and PowerPlay experience is desirable but not essential. 

We are welcoming applications from hard working candidates with the ability to work well under pressure and have the ability to be flexible during peak periods. A second language would also be advantageous but not essential.
