Role: B2B Account Manager (energy / utilities)
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Circa GBP35K DOE + renewals bonus + excellent big company package
Role Purpose:
Do you have B2B account management experience within the energy / utilities industry? If so, we are looking for a B2B Account Manager to proactively manage relationships with a number of key accounts for one of the leading data collection and metering services providers. The Account manager will build relationships with customers to ensure retention of the customer and to up-sell and cross-sell other products and services to maximise revenue potential. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the long-term strategy to grow the business by ensuring profitable delivery of services
- Commercial management of a group of strategically important clients
- Identify commercial opportunities to cross and up-sell other products and services.
- Taking projects from initial idea, through to securing a contract.
- To develop high level, long term business relationships
- Client strategy development and the production and monthly review of Key Account Plans
- Supporting new business development activity and pitches
- Financial management and reporting of client portfolio
- To renew the required number of contracts and achieve the targeted level of incremental revenue
- Host Corporate Hospitality events when required
Experience Required:
- Previous account management experience, able to close business, cross and up-sell.
- Knowledge of energy / Utilities industry.
- High level commercial exposure (networking at C level)
- Ability to deal with, influence and motivate other senior members of staff.
- Project Management experience including analysis, design & execution
- Regular travel, both UK and international
- Education to degree level or equivalent
- Excellent literacy and numeracy
