GBP17-18,000 depending on experience
We love recruiting for this ambitious and growing company who are rapidly becoming an employer of choice in the Bourne area. We are looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join their professional, hardworking but fun loving accounts team in their head offices in Bourne.
Reporting to and working very closely with the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant is a varied and busy role covering all aspects of the financial accounting cycle. Extremely hands on, you will perform a wide variety of scheduled and ad hoc responsibilities covering both the sales and purchase ledgers and will be responsible for the daily bank reconciliation. You will work efficiently and in a timely manner to ensure the company ERP system is updated accurately, and you will liaise on a daily basis with customers, suppliers, members of the finance team and other colleagues as and when required in order to assist you with your role and achieve your objectives. You will also work on a variety of projects that arise as this exciting business continues to grow.
To succeed in this position you will have experience in a similar role and will ideally be studying towards or will have gained several levels of the AAT qualification. Well organised and efficient with your time, you will be keen to learn whilst providing help and support to others in the team. This will be aided by your can-do attitude and your strong team driven approach. Yo will be confident in your use of financial systems and Excel - although specific systems training will be provided. Your well developed interpersonal skills will help with the high level of interaction with customers, suppliers and colleagues and you will be confident using the phone.
