An excellent opportunity has just become available with a well-respected technology company based in Kings Langley who require a Senior HR advisor on a 12- month maternity cover, paying between GBP32,000 - GBP35,000. This is a busy and varied role, which is essential to the success of the Human Resources Department. You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries and provide generalist Human Resource support in accordance with legislation, regulation, best practice, policies and procedures. You will be working closely with the HR business partner, to support one of the largest divisions with in the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate HR team on a 12-month maternity cover.
The HR Assistant will: -
* Partner with the Corporate Division and provide guidance and support on a wide spectrum of Employee Relations matters, which include things such as:- Absence management, Performance management, Family friendly legislation, Flexible and remote working applications, Disciplinary and Grievances, Internal transfers, Employee wellbeing , Out of cycle salary changes, Annual and probationary reviews and Succession planning
* Be able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
* Manage the employee lifecycle by creating and maintaining personnel records
* Creating new employee files and ensuring all checks have been completed
* Support the recruitment and selection process by monitoring/logging CVs, liaising with recruiting managers and recruitment agents, creating and posting job adverts, organising interviews
* Ensure the monthly payroll spreadsheet for the Spanish Payroll Bureau is completed on time and sent
* Review and update the Company policies and procedures in accordance with current government legislation
Skills and Experience: -
* You will have previous generalist HR experience, and have a passion for employee relations
* CIPD qualified or part qualified
* You will have an outstanding attention to detail and ability to balance speed and accuracy and have excellent organisational and planning skills
* Experience with working in the technology/engineering industry would be desirable but isn't a must
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as be professional, credible and commercially minded and be an adaptable and flexible team player
* Microsoft experience, including excel and outlook
