Your New Role

You will be developing and delivering a graduate development programme to fulfil and meet business plans. This is a three month interim position paying GBP400 per day and it is a full-time position within a public sector organisation. The UKRI's offices are based in Swindon and are a short walk from Swindon train station.

The role itself will include tasks such as;

* Designing and delivering of an innovative development scheme which provides a flow of early careers talent
* Maintaining accreditation with the full range of professional bodies such as IMechE, IEE, BCS, etc
* Identifying and collaborating with key university and other academic organisations. Creating positive organisational relationships and recognising the benefits of doing so through creating strategic relationships
* Understanding the organisational needs with leadership, research, scientific and designing graduate development programmes which meet these needs
* Working with other HR colleagues and managing the graduate development programme
* Working with Early Careers and other HR colleagues
* Representing this organisation in external conferences, forums and meetings so that the graduate development objectives, schemes and employer value proposition
* Effectively managing graduate development funding and budgets
* Preparing and managing the annual reaccreditation processes for professional bodies

What You Need to Succeed

The successful candidate for this role you must display the following skills;

* Ability to identify and network with key education authorities which lead to attracting top quality candidates from universities
* Experience of working within a STEM environment and knowledge of relevant professional bodies
* Expertise of designing and managing the development programmes for graduate talent which meets identified development needs
* Expertise within graduate attraction and use of attraction tools and techniques
* Effective leadership and coaching skills
* Strong public speaking skills, verbal and written communication
* Exceptional project planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement skills
* Competent at managing graduate funding and budgets

Essential Skills;

* You must have a proven track record of designing and delivering a graduate development programmes within a large STEM organisation
* Successful experience of using graduate attraction tools and techniques and of managing graduate recruitment campaigns
* Working with stakeholders at all levels within a large organisation
* Managing a range of graduate development programmes

Qualifications

* University Degree
* It is desirable that you are CIPD qualified

What You Will Get in Return

In return you will obtain a role which is initially a three-month contract but can be extended to six months dependent on the successful candidate. You will be paid a day rate of GBP400 per day and the opportunity to work on an extremely exciting project which will impact an organisation and the talent they attract.
