A reputable family owned construction firm are looking to take on a Working Foreman to join their team.
Specialising in delivering high quality, bespoke refurbishment schemes, they work across the private residential and commercials sectors, generally on jobs up to GBP5m
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, key duties will be to coordinate and manage direct and subcontracted labour to help to ensure that construction projects are completed on time, within budget and to a high quality standard.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Day to day co-ordination and supervision of direct and subcontracted staff
- Completing site inspections and maintaining site records
- Driving outputs and motivating teams
- Ensuring a high standard of work
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years as a Supervisor / Foreman, ideally for a main contractor
- Construction related qualification preferred
- Full current driving licence
- Trade background, ideally in Carpentry
