Quantity Surveyor
6 Month + Contract
Reading, Berkshire
Currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for an ongoing contract in Reading, Berkshire. This will be an office based role working for a rapidly growing Mobile Telecoms company.
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support against the overspend against CAPEX/OPEX costs for all Mobile Telecom site builds/upgrades.
As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:
- SOR quote and pricing
- Commercial assessment and authorisation of supplier claims and applications for payment
- Agreement of build final accounts through assessment of work completed against schedule
- Cost control
Skills & Experience Required:
- Quantity Surveying experience, preferably within telecoms
- Certified Quantity Surveyor
- Good interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong Excel
- Ability to work in a fluid, high-pressure environment and to tight deadlines
