Draughtsperson
LOCATION: Leven, Fife
SALARY & BENEFITS: The company have an attractive, competitive salary with 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays per annum - Immediate start
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Monday - Friday based on a 38 hour working week
THE COMPANY: Our client, established in 1884, is a world-leading process solutions company, providing technologies, solutions, services and innovations to meet the specific requirements of their customers in the chemical, pharmaceutical and other process industries. Their engineering and manufacturing facilities are located around the globe.
THE ROLE:
Although training will be given on the Company's product and ERP system Duties would include but not limited to:
• Working with customer specifications, inspection reports and other relevant documentation in the preparation of necessary drawings and/or work instructions for production.
• Liaising with customer, sales and manufacturing as required to resolve issues arising during the life of the Customer Order
THE CANDIDATE:
Key skills / attributes for the Draughtsperson based in Leven, Fife:
• Will live within a commutable distance of the Leven, Fife area
• Proven experience in Auto-Cad
• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Ability to communicate with all disciplines and levels within the organisation
• Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Good organisation skills
Desirable
• A knowledge of Pressure Vessel design codes
• Product knowledge / experience of shop floor working
• Good computer skills including ERP Systems and MS Office
