OSR Recruitment are proud to be working alongside an award winning Travel Agent near Ipswich for a Travel Consultant with great enthusiasm for travelling. The hours are 09.00am - 17.30pm (5 days a week) including occasional Saturday work.
Main Duties:
* You will be responsible for promoting and booking travelling arrangements for clients.
* Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
* Arange travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
* Collect deposits and balances.
* Deal with unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns.
* Maintain and develop relationships with key persons.
Personal Requirements:
* Proven working experience as a travel consultant.
* Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred.
* Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
* Education in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field.
* Demonstrable ability to handle crises.
* Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach
