Cook / Chef, Crewe, CW2
Shift Times between:
08.00 - 20.00
Working 26 hours per week
Working 5 days out of 7
Pay rate- GBP9.50 per hour going up to GBP10.00 after probation.
Responsibilities of role
-To have good general skills in the kitchen also to deputise in Head Chefs absence
-Working with fresh food and have a good understanding of dietary requirements
-Home baking
-Must have Food Hygiene certificate
-Ensuring exceptional presentation and service of food items
-To promote first-rate customer relations in a professional manner taking personal responsibility for delivering excellence
-Provide and maintain an efficient service under all areas of your control, following company values, policies and procedures
-Working well within a small team
-Generous holidays over Christmas and Summer
Our ideal candidate will
-This position comes with generous holidays over Christmas and summer holidays.
-Have passion and enthusiasm for fresh food and great service
-Cooking for residents up to 45 people maximum.
-Good understanding of dietary requirements. To cover for Head Chefs absence.
-Cooking with fresh ingredients, home baking.
-Be driven by excellence and attention to detail with a flair for presentation
-Be naturally outgoing and energetic with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
-Demonstrate confidence with a Can do attitude
-Demonstrate high standards of appearance and dress at all times
