Working in the University’s Marketing Department, you will join a dynamic, creative digital marketing team and will play a pivotal role in writing and co-ordinating online marketing content.
You will be responsible for working with a range of staff at all levels to develop copy for the web and digital platforms to showcase the University’s ethos and ambitions, enhance corporate reputation and promote courses, services, events and facilities.
You will have responsibility for developing and editing content for the LJMU website, digital campaigns, blogs, social media platforms, e-newsletters and external websites and for advising and supporting other university departments on their online marketing requirements.
The ideal candidate for this position will be an outstanding copywriter with creative flair, excellent interpersonal skills and expertise in content marketing and optimising content for search engines.
Educated to degree level (or with significant relevant experience), professional and organised, you must be able to demonstrate excellent copywriting, editing and proof-reading skills. You should have hands-on experience using a content management system, an understanding of usability, accessibility, Google Analytics and basic Photoshop skills. Detail oriented and pro-active, you’ll be able to meet deadlines and be comfortable challenging or being challenged in the workplace. You’ll be driven to create content that not only informs but engages a wide range of users.
