Contract Type: 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, fixed term until 31/07/2019 [0.5 FTE]

We are recruiting for a Lecturer in Computing to join the team here at the College, to deliver formal, scheduled teaching to students at a variety of levels, including those on Higher Education courses.

The successful candidate will have a relevant Degree, as well as a recognised vocational qualification at Level 4 in Computing, Networking and/or Software Development, as well as Maths and English to level 2 (GCSE grade C or above (4-9)). You will have experience in the computer industry, as well as knowledge of learning programmes at various levels including Computer Science, Networking, Data Communications, Database Management, Network Principles, Cyber-Security and Programming Skills.

Ideally you would also have an IQA Qualification and experience working with awarding bodies, as well as knowledge of Android/iOS development, and have the flexibility to teach across a range of curriculum areas including functional skills.
