Our client is an independent housing association providing excellent housing management services to over 5,200 tenants and 260 leaseholders in Gloucester. They are currently in-sourcing their repairs service and have a number of opportunities to join their busy Property Care Team in the Gloucestershire area.


They are looking for experienced & knowledgeable trade’s people who have worked in a repairs and maintenance environment and welcome the opportunity of being part of a new venture and assist with the shaping of their new business.


As a Carpenter you will carry out all forms of carpentry in their customers' homes and elsewhere in accordance with work schedules.


The successful candidate will also apply knowledge and skills to record and report on the condition of fixtures and fittings. This is to enable appropriate information to be fed into reports including recommendations concerning future maintenance.


You should have experience within a similar role, ideally from within a residential/Housing sector and must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 (or equivalent). Other trade skills undertaken would be an advantage with a desire to achieve a high percentage of first time fix repairs for their customers. To be a successful candidate you will have a relevant qualification (or equivalent experience/background) in property/housing maintenance.
A clean UK driving licence is required and this role is subject to DBS check.
