About the role:
We now have an opportunity in our Property Services department, for an organised and customer focused Works Planner to act as the main point of contact in relation to responsive repairs being undertaken by the Internal Repairs Team.
You will allocate and schedule repair appointments to appropriate operatives through the dynamic scheduling system ensuring the most efficient use of available resources and keep tenants informed of all appointments and progress. 

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong level of computer literacy along with experience of using a dynamic appointment and workforce scheduling system within a mobile working environment 
  • Experience of arranging and planning works or services to be carried out within specified timescales and to strict deadlines. 
  • Experience of working within a customer facing environment 
  • knowledge of building terminology, domestic repairs and basic domestic amenities 
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain, clear, concise records and to give clear instructions by telephone 
  • Proven ability to organise and prioritise own workload 
  • Confidence in dealing with people, sometimes in difficult situations 
  • Understanding the importance of good customer service with both  internal and external customers 
  • Flexible approach to hours worked and work content
