Excellent opportunity for an Import / Export Senior Shipping Coordinator to join a global leader to support the Supply Chain teams in UK & Ireland after Brexit. The role-holder will coordinate all international air, sea and land freight transactions within UK/Ireland resulting from a Brexit. 

The Senior Shipping Coordinator will be part of a supply chain team and will be responsible for providing accurate delivery information for purchase orders that require customs clearance to the Supply Chain teams in UKI.

Senior Shipping Coordinator Tasks/Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate international air, sea and land freight transactions resulting from Brexit
+ Assist supply chain teams preparing Import/Export documentation for intercompany movements including but not limited to Letters of Credit, Shipping Letter of Instruction, invoices and packing lists
+ Apply harmonised codes and import/export licensing as required
+ Maintain the shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information on request 
+ Interface with brokers and freight forwarders to obtain compliance with company requirements
+ Coordinate with internal departments to ensure shipments are consistent with customer requirements, to support the timely delivery and to communicate to the field regarding order requests
+ Prepare shipping paperwork as well as completes shipping transaction in SAP (and other systems if required)
+ Proactively resolve and escalates delivery issues to appropriate personnel

Senior Shipping Coordinator Required Candidate Profile:

+ SAP experience, MS Excel experience or ability to learn
+ Fluent in English, Second European language is a plus
+ Working experience in planning, transport, customer service is a plus
+ Retail or Chemical experience advantageous
+ Analysing skills
+ Communication skills
+ Organisation sensitivity
+ Able to change and adjust in a fast moving environment
+ Ability to deal with ambiguous situations
