Chef manager.
Stunning care home in the Heart of Enfield, catering for 55 residents, is seeking a strong and capable Chef manager to manage the team of 12 staff, prep and cook for the residents daily,
This site has a Jewish influence for many of the meals are meat free or do not include Pork or shell fish, so this role requires a Chef manager with great skills to create excellent meals but also considers dietary requirements around this.
Chef Manager- The role.
-Working 5/7- alternate weekends.
-Overseeing team of 12- inc weekend staff.
-Weekly Client meetings.
-Introduction of menus suitable for the site and customer requirements within budget.
-Ordering, stock control, weekly accounting.
-HACCP and COSHH
-Provision of 100% fresh food meals.
Chef manager -Required experience.
-Minimum of two years within a Care home -ideally Jewish
-Fresh food background as a chef/ cook
-Chef manager previously for contract caterer.
-Two years experience of cooking within a care home with Dementia care needs.
-Live in Enfield or within a 25 minute journey
-Chef experience of at least two years.
-Can do attitude.
-Customer facing and able to meet with residents.
