Job Details This role would be suitable for someone wishing to pursue a career in IT / business systems support. The project will focus on the implementation of new line of business database system for Health and Social Care Partnership.
The project will involve working with Health and Social Care Business Systems Teams / Third Party supplier / stakeholders and close liaison with Corporate ICT. The Internship may be part based within corporate ICT.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of a major new database system implementation such as:
• Systems Analysis and Design
• System Configuration
• Data Migration
• Data Integrity checks
• UAT
ResponsibilitiesProvide dedicated project support to a nominated Service within a learning contract In order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Health & Social Care Partnership Plan and the Community Plan.RequirementsThe duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.Additional Information This is a full time temporary post within Health & Social Care Partnership, Information & Systems based between the Opera House, & Balmoral Road, Kilmarnock.
Post is expected to last 1 year.
Rate of pay is GBP8.75per hour
