Graduate Geotechnical Engineer - Cambridge - GBPNegotiable

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading UK-based Environmental Consultancy, in Cambridge.

As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer you will be joining an experienced team and you will be expected to support a wide variety of projects across the UK, including the built environment and infrastructure.

My client is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who has strong communication skills and who can work well within a team.

Candidates must have a strong degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or a similar discipline. A Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics or similar is also required.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrable experience of working within a similar role
• Possess Geotechnical Design skills, including the use of relevant software packages such as AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel and Geotechnical Design software.
• Have strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with contractors, clients and colleagues of all levels
• Capable of writing technical reports to a high standard

This role includes both office and site visits, so candidates are required to hold a UK drivers licence.
