Building Better Opportunities: Getting Cumbria to Work is a partnership project that seeks to provide support to and work with individuals who are facing multiple and complex barriers to employment and who are furthest removed from the labour market in Barrow and South Lakeland.
Cumbria CVS is looking for two suitably qualified, professional individuals to strengthen our existing delivery team.
Both roles will provide an excellent opportunity to work in a committed and passionate organisation in the heart of our community.
Previous experience of European funded programmes will provide a distinct advantage.
Finance Officer
Part Time (22.5hours/week): Fixed Term Contract
Salary: NJC Scale Point 24 (GBP22,401 pro rata)
Based in Carlisle
Applicants must have skills and experience within a senior finance role and have excellent IT, communication and inter-personal skills.
They should have an eye for accuracy and have the ability to prioritise tasks, to work on their own initiative and to work to timescales.
The successful individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing claims within the project, producing regular budget updates and providing assistance to the whole delivery team including partners' organisations.
This project is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund.
The Building Better Opportunities project funding ends in March 2021.
