Examinations Invigilators

From the 1 September 2012 City College Norwich, Norfolk Academies Trust, and Norfolk Educational Services became a Federation of institutions, known as Transforming Education in Norfolk (TEN).

Norfolk Educational Services (NES) provides services including Examination Invigilation to the member institutions.

Examinations Invigilators - City College Norwich and Paston College (North Walsham)

GBP10.17 per hour including holiday pay, variable hours per week (to work as and when required)

We are currently recruiting for Examinations Invigilators to work at City College Norwich and Paston College (North Walsham), but as an employee of NES you may also be invited to work at other TEN institutions where the need arises, should you so wish. The busiest time for our invigilators is during the main summer exam series during May & June, although there are opportunities for work at other times of the year.

You will take responsibility for an examination session (both paper-based, and computer-based) in the presence of candidates, including acting as a reader, scribe, prompter or chaperone, meeting appropriate examination board rules and regulations. You will deal with emergencies and report all incidents and malpractice to the Examinations Officer whilst ensuring the needs of the candidates are met throughout the examination.

You will take ownership of examination security before, during and after the examination.
