Who Are Solvo Vir?
We are an innovative training provider providing training and apprenticeships to organisations and individuals across the UK.
Solvo Vir is a very dynamic and growing apprenticeship training provider and this is a new role within the business. As such it offers a very exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop and grow the position and the team. This role will require you to provide financial administration support to the Finance Manager by maintaining accurate financial records and robust controls, ensuring the smooth running of the department.
Day to day responsibilities will include, but are not exclusive to:
* Setting up, collecting and evidencing direct debit payments of all client co-funding contributions for apprenticeship learners in line with the ESFA funding rules
* Purchase Ledger - raising purchase orders, processing supplier invoices and allocating payments on Sage
* Reconciling supplier statements resolving any discrepancies
* Sales Ledger - posting customer payment info on to our CRM system
* Providing assistance to the Finance Manager where necessary with monthly accounts and reports
* Control and reconciliation of petty cash and pre-paid Post Office account
* Posting monthly expense and mileage claims on to Sage
