JOB DESCRIPTION

POST:                                     Admin/Finance Officer

REPONSIBLE AND                        Housing Manager and Senior Housing Officer

ACCOUNTABLE TO:

HOURS:                                 17.5 hours per week (9.00am-12.30pm Monday to Friday)

WAGES:                                £10.14 per hour

SPECIFIC REPONSIBILITIES:

To act as the first point of contact for customer, providing easy access to the housing and repairs service, as well as inputting/maintaining the Association’s finance information.           

Provide a professional and responsive service to customer’s enquiries in person, on the phone and in writing with the aim of diagnosing and resolving all enquiries at the first point of contact.

           

  1. Deal with customer enquiries in person, on the phone and in writing and identify the best course of action, ensuring that where necessary they are referred to the relevant member of staff or contractor or agency within the appropriate timescale.
  2. To input data, update and maintain the Association’s computerised accountancy system including producing schedules and reports, contacting helpline and completing on line forms.
  3. Receive and process all requests from customers including but not limited to repairs requests, arranging appointments, processing rent payments, lettings, tenancy and anti-social behaviour enquiries in a positive, helpful and responsive manner.
  4. Provide customers with appropriate advice and information and instigate action on their behalf.
  5. Manage and protect customer information including sensitive personal and financial information, in accordance with relevant legislation.
  6. Assist with the development, monitoring and maintenance of our customer service system and procedures.
  7. To maintain the waiting and transfer lists and carry out pre tenancy checks, prior to allocations.
  8. Deal with all aspects of office administration including the Associations electronic filing system.
  9. Any other duties or responsibilities as required which are commensurate with the post of Admin/Finance Officer.
