About the area you'll be working in
Bupa's Centre team located primarily in the heart of London's financial district, is responsible for driving the strategic direction of our organisation across all of our Global markets.
What you'll be doing
As an Area Training you will plan, manage and deliver effective Operational training within the Home/Portfolio. You will work collaboratively with Home managers and advise on the identification of training needs arising from competence gaps and audit/inspections, making recommendations to the Area Training Manager on specific training needs. You would also monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback from learners and home supervisors, making improvements to training delivery to ensure identified needs are met and workplace competence is promoted.
What's a typical day?
You will communicate effectively and promote awareness of the training opportunities and planned training activity within the home/cluster. In order to plan, co-ordinate and deliver the Induction/Mandatory training requirements for staff within the home/Portfolio against required performance standards. You would also promote and support the completion of mandatory learning & development plans of all staff within the home. Providing one-to-one support, coaching, and assessment of staff within the home to facilitate successful completion of Induction and Mandatory training requirements would also form part of the role. In addition to this you will support and facilitate the access to e-learning and e-assessment for all staff as required.
Who we're looking for?
* Hold an appropriate care/training qualification
* Care sector experience
* Previous experience in delivering training to groups of learners
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Well organised with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise workload effectively
* Previous experience in supervising and assessing learners in a care setting
