Marketing Manager (Content)

Marketing Manager vacancy, Chester (near the train station).

Base salary GBP25,000 to circa GBP35,000 (depending on experience).

This position will see someone work very closely with the talented senior management of the company and come up with and action new marketing ideas. They are looking to employ an ambitious, passionate, fresh-thinking, creative, content focussed digital marketer with 2+years commercial experience (ideally gained in an agency or similar environment).

What you will be doing on a day to day basis:

• Keeping eyes on the competition.
• Keeping ears to the ground and follow trends and hopefully set them.
• Owning Marketing activities across a number of brands.
• Creating copy and content and engaging target audiences.
• Managing channels e.g. social media (LinkedIn/ Facebook etc).
• Creating and managing marketing campaigns (including digital).
• Heading up Exhibitions, whilst thinking disruptively. For example, in the past, our client has organised flash mobs, fake stands (to showcase the opposite of what they do). They want stand-out and be different.

Supporting the team in lead generation, be that through old school direct marketing, organic growth or algorithms.
