We are presently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technician to join global heavy machinery manufacturer based in Omagh. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful Customer Support Electrician to join a recognisable brand as they continue to grow and supply market leading machinery and plant solutions to their loyal customer base.
The ideal candidate will have an electrical background and be proficient in wiring control panels, possess a strong knowledge of three & single phase motor systems and the use of AC systems, reading schematics and possess an eagerness to learn and progress their career.
There is some travel with this role, the successful Customer Support Electrician candidate will be well rewarded for working away with travel and overtime rates paid as standard along with working away allowances, travel and accommodation paid; travel approximate 30 - 40% of work.
Customer Support Electrician Criteria:
* Time served Electrical apprenticeship or possess NVQ/HNC in an Electrical discipline OR 17th / 18th edition wiring regulations
* 3+ years' experience in a maintenance / trouble shooting environment
* Experience carrying out maintenance and operation of electro-mechanical systems
* Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be diligent in keeping digital records of work carried out
* Experience with electrical installation and panel wiring
In return the successful Customer Support Electrician will be rewarded with clear career progression plan, career investment to obtain necessary qualifications and the opportunity to learn from more experienced engineers to further their own skill set.
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP32,000 + travel allowance (Approx earnings GBP40,000)
