Electrical / Electronic Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a multi-skilled Electrical / Electronic Maintenance Engineer for a company based just outside Cambridge. Hours of work will be 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Requirements * Technically competent and confident about working using your own initiative* Ability to make decisions accordingly, plan own workload and prioritise appropriately* Willing to attend training courses to maintain and develop technical knowledge* Ability to work well both in a team and independently* A solid background as an electronic / electrical engineer with all round knowledge of various systems are essential* Mechanical aptitude an advantage* Electronic / electrical qualified to ONC/HNC level preferred* Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) experience* Ability to read circuit and wiring diagrams essential* Good soldering skills.* Qualified to BS7671 with 17th Edition Wiring Regulations or other electrical installation qualification desired* Ability to produce calibration / test procedures* CandG 2391-10 Inspection and Testing would be an advantage* High Voltage experience desired - DC and AC Power supplies* RF experience highly desirable* PLC knowledge desirable.* High Vacuum experience desirable
