Our client is a leading menswear retailer, currently seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to join their Merchandising team based at their Head Office in Leeds.

This position is a temporary role initially to provide cover for a busy department, however in this well-established, yet ever-growing company, opportunities to go permanent can often arise.

Reporting to the Head of Merchandise, your role will include the following duties:

• Stock and sales analysis
• Critical path management
• Looking after the Mail Order division, ensuring product is visible and stock is available

• Placing orders with suppliers
• Collating import documents from suppliers for customs clearance
• Liaising with suppliers
• Assist with the planning of containers into our warehouse
• Assemble size/stock details as new ranges are delivered and communicate to all divisions

Experience is not necessary for all of the above duties as training will be given, however some merchandise/intake experience is preferred.

In order to be considered for this exciting position, it is essential that you have:

• The ability to work in a team
• A positive attitude
• IT proficiency including Excel competence
• Excellent numeracy
• Keen eye for detail
