A UK Financial Services company are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the business on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst, ideally with exposure to Financial Services, who thrives on new challenges and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The role will be central to the planning and analysis function and will work closely with global teams to provide accurate and high quality analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop operating and financial models for new and existing businesses
- Assist in the financial planning and analysis
- Analysis and reporting of profit drivers of the business
- Perform ad-hoc business analysis and deep dives into specific business issues
- Research, and analyse new business opportunities and competitive dynamics
- Assist in presentation writing for new opportunities, budgets
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Qualified Accountant
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis (developing financial models, analysing financial statements, collating management information)
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, and planning tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Experience working with senior management team
- Strong quantitative analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
