8.30 am - 4.30 pm (Monday/Tuesday)

8.30 am - 4.00 pm (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday)

The Post:

We are looking to appoint a confident, organised, and committed individual to join our finance team to assist with all areas of the finance function including accounting, reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, month-end and year-end processes together with the payroll reconciliation for all staff.

Duties will include working closely with the Finance Manager ensuring that the school's financial controls and procedures are compliant, reports are accurate and that budgets are not overspent. Other duties will include overseeing all financial transactions, invoices, Parent pay and bank reconciliations.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software packages, experience of working with SIMS and in the education sector is desirable.

The Person:

• 5 GCSEs grade B or above including English and Maths
• Experience equivalent to Association of Accounting Technician or working towards
• Administrative experience including the management, development and operation of administrative systems and procedures
• Ability to work in collaboration with staff, students, parents and other agencies
• Experience of working in a busy and demanding environment

The appointee will be required to complete a six-month period of probation.
