The School is looking for a groundsperson to assist in the upkeep and development of its summer and winter sports grounds including football, hockey, rugby and cricket pitches on its magnificent 250-acre site.
The successful applicant will be a strong team player as well as having the ability to work on their own initiative. You will have a good standard of general education and a proven track record in the preparation of sports surfaces or an enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills. A full and clean driving licence is an essential requirement of the role. Relevant qualifications in sports turf management and qualifications/training in the use of powered machinery are desirable, as is experience of working within a school environment, although training can be given where necessary.
