We are a firm of Chartered Accountants in Macclesfield, who are looking for a Semi Senior/Senior Accountant to join our practice. We have a varied client base including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
Roles & Responsibilities of the Semi Senior/Senior Accountant role:
- Book-keeping and accounts production.
- Preparation of accounts and VAT returns for Sole Traders, Companies and Partnerships.
- Processing Journals and finalising Accounts.
- Processing Tax Returns.
- Payroll processing
- 35 hours per week with 23 days holiday
The ideal candidate for this position would be:
- Accounting and finance qualifications not essential if you have the right experience
- Computer packages - Excel, Word, Sage Line 50,
- Fairly locally based to Macclesfield/Cheshire
Competitive salary £24,000 - £28,000 - depending on experience
