Salary: GBP18000 to GBP Days Holday, Health Care & Private Pension

Hours: Monday To Thursday 7:30am - 5pm Friday 7:30am - 1pm

Production Admin

The Candidate

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and willing individual to join their close-knit team and help to ensure the quality of process, products and general day to day manufacturing procedures. This opportunity offers scope for an individual to step up and develop within this role and the company. They are looking for individuals to have the following:

• Experience working in Manufacturing (specifically the manufacturing of products/components)

• A general understanding of Quality within a manufacturing environment

• Have experience of inspecting production

• Be able to read technical drawings

• Ability to work from own initiative

• Proficiency with Excel

• IT competence

• Willingness to learn and progress

• Good communication skills

• Organisation skills

Production Admin

The Role

Our market leading client is looking for a Production Admin to take on a varied role. Day to day and general duties will include:

• Inspecting products at various points to ensure compliancy with spec; initially, on goods-in when the materials come in, prior to this, once the product has gone through phases of Manufacturing

• Ensuring operatives are keeping up to quality standards and are aware of what standard they need to be working to

• Become aware of their ISO standards and keep on top of it, making sure that the site is as compliant with these standards as possible

• Eventually step up to assisting with audits (external)

• Monitor scrap levels, see whether they can get waste to a minimum (usually around 5-7%)

• Mainly focus on the print department and the management of the processes here

• Some involvement with external suppliers

• Ensure Health and Safety on-site is compliant
