Independent Governing Body Lay Member (Strategic Finance)
The Bristol North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) CCG has a membership of 85 GP practices, which serves a population of one million people. Our mission is to make healthcare better for everyone that lives in BNSSG. An exciting opportunity is available to join (BNSSG) CCG which merged on 1 April 2018 to be part of the Governing Body of the new organisation. Our mission is to make healthcare better for everyone that lives in BNSSG. We will do this by putting people's needs at the heart of our decision making and ensuring that the voice of local people shapes what we do as we seek to get the very best value from the resources we have available.
This Independent Member will be a qualified, experienced and well-regarded finance professional with a proven track-record in the financial management of similar-sized organisations. You'll chair the CCG's Strategic Finance Committee and will also be a member of other Board Committees.

The role will require a commitment of up to five days per month and will be subject to a contract of services for an initial term of up to three years. The day rate will be negotiated within the range of GBP340 - GBP375 subject to skills, experience and qualifications.
