Can you meet the challenge?

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Desk Analyst to come and join our organisation to provide a proactive customer liaison and single communication point for customer phone calls, emails, self-serve and face-to-face communication regarding all IT issues and queries. You will have day to day responsibility for the prioritisation and classification of support requests received, including assessing the business priority. You will also analyse, diagnose and take ownership of 1st line faults through to resolution in order to meet our customer responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who has experience of using an IT Service Desk application to manage requests for support as well as experience of managing IT Hardware and Software Assets within a business environment to ensure quality records are maintained.

If so, do you have the qualities?

As our ideal candidate you will be educated to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths, and need knowledge and experience of the basic functions of computer hardware, software and communications infrastructure sufficient to take messages, log calls and provide limited advice.

The successful candidate will also need to experience in the following:

* Experience of Microsoft Windows Desktop Environment

* Experience of providing an excellent customer service

* Experience of a 1st line IT support service

* A good understanding of the implications of legislation affecting IT use, including the GDPR, Computer Misuse Act and appropriate health and safety legislation
