Corporate Paralegal - London Join our high performing, dynamic and busy Transaction Services Team (TST) as a Paralegal to help us deliver a world class service to our clients, many of whom are listed on the FTSE 100. For the right person, this role provides an exciting opportunity to develop and work with a team of like minded and committed professionals at the forefront of change in the legal industry. The TST focuses on tasks that are found in a wide variety of legal assignments but which do not necessarily need to be done by qualified lawyers, such as document review, due diligence and e-disclosure, as well as process elements of transactional, advisory, commercial real estate and litigation work. It was set up by Addleshaw Goddard as an alternative, modern and more efficient approach to the conventional delivery of standardised legal services by law firms. Our quarterly review process enables you to review your progress and provide you with clear guidance and support to assist your development. The Role The Paralegal will work as part of the Transaction Services Team to provide support to fee earners in our Corporate division. As a Paralegal embedded in this team, the work is varied and includes; Providing support to corporate lawyers and partners on corporate transactions - including M&A, private equity, joint ventures and public company work Reviewing and reporting on contracts and other information as part of corporate due diligence exercises Undertaking a wide range of tasks, including data room management, due diligence, disclosure, drafting documents, attending completions and providing general transaction support. Direct client involvement. Drafting and producing legal documentation and standard forms Managing electronic data sites, uploading and ordering documentation and liaising with third parties Providing transactional support on Corporate projects Checking legal documents for quality, consistency and content Assisting with post completion tasks on legal projects What we are looking for Due to the dynamic nature of the work we do and the international clients we service, the role is not an ordinary 9-5 job.
