My client situated in Central London is urgently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with a minimum of five years' experience to join their thriving team.

With a particular focus on accuracy, reconciliation skills and query handling, this role entails:
o Covering for the Purchase Ledger Manager by ensuring workloads are distributed and completed within set deadlines.
o Daily processing of Purchase Ledger invoices and Expenses
o Register invoices and send to the relevant partner for approval
o Check expense forms for receipts and relevant authorisation
o Ensure that invoices are correctly coded and authorised in line with the firm's policies
o Ensure that expense claims are correctly coded, and adhere to both the firms anti- bribery policies and HMRC guidelines
o Preparation of the weekly BACS payment run and cheque run in a timely manner
o Regular supplier statements reconciliations
o Liaise with the management accounts team for any necessary adjustments
o Monitor the Purchase Ledger & Expenses email inbox - print invoices, statements and answer queries
o Resolve Internal and External Purchase Ledger & Expense Ledger queries
o File purchase invoices and expenses claims
o Other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Purchase Ledger Manager

Hours are 0900 until 1730 with 1 hour for lunch.

This role will favour a candidate with experience in working within a professional services background.
