Job description/Person specification

This Defence organisation supports the delivery of secured navigation which can be depended on when accurate navigation, positioning/timing is mission-critical. Our specialist teams provide our clients with consultancy support, research and the development of services & security capabilities for the next generation of navigation systems including, in particular, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Receivers.

Due to continued growth across the department, we have a range of opportunities open to Engineers with experience working with navigational systems including GNSS products. We are interested in hearing from candidates able to support the design and implementation of navigation systems, who are keen to contribute to the technical delivery of innovative & cutting edge solutions.

Knowledge of any of the following is desirable:

  • Navigation system specification, design and implementation
  • GNSS Infrastructure
  • GNSS Receiver Processing
  • Navigation signal processing
  • Multi-sensor navigation
  • Robust navigation techniques (anti-jam, anti-spoof)
  • Real Time Kinematic satellite navigation
  • Security

Candidates may come from a range of engineering disciplines, covering Systems Engineering, Software, Hardware, Firmware, Software and Algorithm Development.
