Do you want to work for a well established firm? Do you have experience in the plumbing merchants industry? They are now looking to recruit a internal sales person to join the team
The role
the role will involve managing current accounts and a small part of business development to new clients
Job Requirements
- have experience in the plumbing merchant industry
- be comfortable doing telesales
- cross sell and up sell to current clients
- be comfortable working on the phone for a large part of the day

The firm is situated near to the M602 and is quickly accessible directly from the motorway.
Job details
The role is working on days and the salary is around GBP20000.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Sales - to increase sales through the conversion of incoming phone and email sales enquiries; using your market knowledge and an understanding of the materials available. Pro-active outbound calls to generate interest and activity
Enquiries - to complete all major quotation enquires and return in the agreed timescale, ensuring good communication throughout the process
Product offer - promoting and helping to communicate our broad product offer to better improve sales opportunities with new and existing customers
Customer service - working with existing and new customers to deliver first-class service, building strong and sustainable relationships
Stock management - help pro-actively manage stock levels with a view to best-practice in terms of materials available
Suppliers - develop relationships with key supply partners to maintain a good understanding of products and services; to deliver the maximum benefit for our customers and the Depot
Knowledge - to develop a good understanding of products across all our commodity groups and be able to assist customers with information. Offering advice in terms of what the customer needs and the product or service offer we can provide
Profitability - to assist the Depot to attain overall monthly budget objectives, via increased margin and turnover; and achieve the specified budget / sales targets.
