European Transport Operator required by Freight & Logistics Company based in Nuneaton. Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience. A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role is essential.
We now require a European Transport Operator to plan all activity for inbound collections and deliveries across Europe based on customer requirements.
You will have excellent problem solving and customer service skills along with strong organisational and strategic planning abilities. The ability to work on own initiative within a small flexible team with good interpersonal and communication skills is essential.
Responsibilities:
-Forward loads to subcontractors when necessary.
-Increase turnover by taking extra work.
-Communicate with other planners/admin to ensure the planning is effective
-Monitor spot loads from TMS.
-Check traffic sheet to ensure all the loads information have been added correctly
-Record any non-conformance
-Take incoming phone calls from customers/suppliers.
-Manage invoice queries
-Manage new customers/new haulers and send application forms.
-Enter demurrage/cancellation costs to the job and in TMS
-Deal with the customer when demurrage/cancellation costs are required
