Software Engineer, Post Trade Development

As a part of the post trade development team, build and maintain robust and high-throughput Web (HTML/React/js/Node) based applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the business to drive and understand requirements
• Analyze requirements and propose solutions/prototypes
• Architect/Design solutions
• Build robust and flexible object-oriented systems
• Unit test code, and work with business users on UAT
• Deploy systems to production
• Provide end-user support
• Maintain proficiency in required technical skills

Required Skills:

• Extensive professional experience in HTML/React/JS, C#/.Net, WPF, WinForms, multi-threading
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with SSAS/PowerBI
• Experience with modern pub/sub based, distributed and micro services
• Experience in modern software engineering – CI/CD/git/jenkins
• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering
• Strong analysis and design skills, knowledge of design patterns
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of the financial industry
• Candidate must have experience with investment middle / back office investment flows, including but not limited to the following:
  • Portfolio Swap lifecycle management
  • Clearing & Settlement
  • Reconciliation and control / trade break processing
  • Broker / exchange fee processing
• Experience in DevExpress
• XML/JSon
• Node.js
• Experience with Python/modern scripting languages
• Experience in supporting time critical processes
