Pipe Bending Technician
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic workshop technician to join our Engineering client near Uxbridge, Middlesex to:
* To be able to undertake a variety of manufacturing operations to produce pipes as part of main assembly to the required quality standards and in accordance with work schedules.
* To be able to Hand fit pipes to the relevant form blocks and make any adjustments necessary.
* Using work cards and specifications be able to cut pipes using an electric saw, set and operate pipe bending machines in accordance with the specifications.
Knowledge and skills:
* Small bore pipe bending would be an advantage
* Experience of general workshop hand tools
* Basic PC Skills
* Familiar with engineering hand tools.
* Basic understanding of measuring equipment
* Basic manufacturing/engineering background
* Broad experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and their related ADR's.
* SAP experience desirable
You must have unrestricted eligibility to live and work in the UK
