Our client provides short to medium term support (6 months to two years) to individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis. Their support is accommodation based, in a project which is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with the aim of supporting residents to build upon their skills and experience to be able to move on to independent accommodation at the end of their time with them.
Due to promotion, they are looking for a Senior Support Worker to come join their friendly and dynamic team. You will work in an open and supportive environment and be able to access an extensive range of learning and development opportunities as well as genuine career progression.

- Ability to work with people in a person-centred way
- An understanding of support needs in mental health
- Knowledge of the behaviour and symptoms associated with mental health and psychosis.
- A detailed understanding of key-working, personalised support, and co-production
- An awareness of safeguarding procedures and risk assessment principles
- Commitment to working within an Equality & Diversity Framework.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.
