About the Key Account Manager / Technical Account Manager role:
Dealing with customers within a diverse range of industries and tasked with managing and growing existing Accounts primarily within Southern England. The Key Account Manager/Technical Account Manager will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities.
Reporting at Director level, this position is predominantly home based and will involve spending time visiting customers and the company's head office as required.
Responsibilities of theKey Account Manager / Technical Account Manager:
- Promoting the company's range of seal products across multiple industry sectors.
- Managing key and strategic accounts, ensuring the highest possible level of customer service is maintained and developing these accounts to their optimum revenue potential.
- Ensuring that customer concerns are dealt with quickly and efficiently
- Identifying new business opportunities within the guidelines of the corporate strategic plan focusing on developing technical and commercial solutions.
- Ensuring that all new accounts and business opportunities are fully evaluated and that each new enquiry has sufficient technical and commercial detail to allow a complete solution to be established
- Delivering quotations on new business, ensuring that the full customer requirement is being sufficiently and appropriately addressed.
- Ensuring that the ethical and professional reputation of the company is maintained at all times.
Requirements of theKey Account Manager / Technical Account Manager:
- Solid experience in a technical field based sales position within relevant industries
- A track record of achieving KPI, revenue and margin targets
- Ability to present technical solutions to all levels within a business
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Drive and enthusiasm to succeed
- A full UK driving Licence
Candidates should have a relevant Engineering background and must have a proven track record within Sales and Account Management.
