Senior CNC Programmer - North East (Washington) - Superb leadership role - 5 Axis CNC
The ideal candidate will have experience programming CNC machines. CAD, Solidworks

With an advanced knowledge in 5 axis CNC programming & development, as well as experience in designing, developing & optimising production processes.
This is a new role in a North East leader in their field based near Washington. Big growth plans and already a successful 50 plus year history!
Responsibilities (More info on application - Unique company and role)
* Day-to-day running & problem solving of 5 axis CNC machines and improvamenets in the production enviorment.
* Designing, developing & optimising programmes for nesting, machining techniques, jigs & manufacturing processes
* Understand & follow production requirements from the MRP system and generated documentation
* Create, develop & promote new production methods and skills whether related to the material technology, engineering or machining capabilities available
* Develop operative handling techniques and breakdown projects into stages
The Candidate: bottom line we need an excellent CNC programmer with a little bit of jazz and strong leadership skills who knows manufacturing ! !
* Knowledge & experience of modern manufacturing methods, including using 5 axis SCM CNC's
* A practical & technical knowledge in machine tooling, setting up & machine maintenance
* Must have a diligent attitude to work, clear & articulate communication skills and a confidence to interact across all levels of the business
* Flexible approach towards shift work
