Sutton Council is seeking an exceptional candidate to take on the role of Senior Pensions Administration Officer in its shared service with the Royal Borough of Kingston.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing day-today and complex Local Government Pension Scheme administrative duties, including: controlling and processing, with minimal management oversight, a caseload of transfers in/out, divorce proceedings, deaths, retirements, etc. providing training and supervision of junior colleagues supporting projects undertaken by the team signing-off other officers' processing tasks providing advice to scheme members.
You will have knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme or a similar scheme and will have a desire for innovation and continuous improvement. You will also have excellent communication, numeracy and IT skills.
