The role will involve:

• Understanding and evaluating the risks associated with applications
• Obtaining all necessary documentation to make accurate and appropriate underwriting decisions
• Manually underwrite applications
• Liaising in a professional manner with third parties regarding applications
• Managing your own caseload of applications

You will also have a good understanding of FCA regulations and be keen to progress upwards in a mandated underwriting position.
